Volodymyr Dahl East National University begins its development from March 27, 1920, when the Luhansk created the first higher education institution in Donbass training for engineering companies.

    The current license allows Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University right to conduct educational activities for 61 bachelors degree (direction), specialists - in 92 specialties, masters - on 93 specialties. On the basis of complete higher education master public service preparing managerial staff for government in "Civil Service". Center for training, retraining and improvement under license retrains specialists on the basis of higher education in 45 specialties and 17 accredited training areas; training professionals in all specialties accredited university and training of teachers.
